dc.description.abstract Spirituai issues are cuituraiiy important for many youth in urban schools. In this articie, the authors describe how spirituality is associated with cultural vaiues, mentai health, coping strategies, and adjustment among cuituraily diverse youth. Using the case of a 17-year-oid Samoan high schooi student, the authors demonstrate how spirituai issues reiated to faith, meaning making, and cuiturai identity can be addressed in a schooi counseiing context. en_US
