A study of Sexual and Domestic Violence against women in Western Samoa.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to collect and utilise baseline data and to place our findings in the context of work previously done in Samoa and secondly within the Pacific region. Hopefully this research will spark off many more similar studies and generate much interest and recommendation for developing stronger law reforms to protect victims of violence and penalties for the perpetrators.
